Cannabis company Heal, Inc. opened its first dispensary on Friday, officially setting up shop at 660 Main St. in Sturbridge.

The adult-use dispensary, which received its commence operations approval from the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission on May 13, will be open by appointment only, in conjunction with Sturbridge regulations, according to Heal, Inc.

For the time being, Heal is retailing products made by other manufacturers, although the company is in the process of building a 50,000-square-foot cultivation and processing facility with hopes to bring their own cannabis lines to market in 2022.

In announcing its Sturbridge opening, Heal said it also plans to open another dispensary in Provincetown in fall of this year.
