From the beginning, I wanted to learn more about manufacturing and the operations of the company. When I became Welder Operator in 1987, business was booming. Riverdale purchased eight new welding machines to meet customer demand and I was assigned a lead production position in the welding department. I now serve as a shift supervisor, overseeing 30 employees and directing off-shift supervisors. Through hard work and dedication, I have turned a job into a career.”

Riverdale Mills manufactures 3,500 configurations of galvanized welded wire.
Marine: Aquamesh® is used to build over 70 percent of lobster and crab traps, oyster cages and fish pens in North America.
Security: WireWall® is a virtually impenetrable, high security fencing material that protects and secures embassies and universities, airports, utilities, military bases and transit systems around the world.
Agriculture: Soft-Step™ provides more sanitary floors in poultry breeding houses.
Horticulture: ScrOGmesh® and BenchMesh are used to support the growth and display of plants in commercial or retail greenhouses, nurseries and private farms.
Construction: Geomesh™ is used by construction management consultants & engineers and landscape architects for land management, earth retention and soil stabilization.
Riverdale also manufactures steel, stainless steel and copper wire mesh.
